As part of a global protest against the New York Theatre Workshop's censorship of "My Name is Rachel Corrie", Optative Theatrical Laboratories staged a reading of Rachel Corrie's e-mails from Palestine, preceeded by The Words About the Words, a verbatim theatre piece with script taken word-for-word from news reports, statements and internet discussion about the controversy.

Rachel Corrie was a 23-year-old American activist killed by an Israeli bulldozer while defending the home of a Palestinian pharmacist in Rafa, Gaza.

OTL raised over $200 for The Rachel Corrie Foundation for Peace and Justice.
