Optative Theatrical Laboratories is a non-hierarchical grassroots theatre collective with a mandate to theatrically challenge hegemonic thinking. Founded at the University of Calgary in 1999, it has been based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada since 2001.
OTL produces activist theatre and performs guerilla theatre culture-jams targeting the monoculture.
